This 18k Gold Vermeil necklace  is handcrafted with a beautiful pink natural sapphire and accented with a white topaz. This sapphire has not been heated or treated and shows the gem's soft natural color and the beauty of imperfections created by mother nature.

*Gold Vermeil is a type of gold plating and is usually considered more desirable than typical gold plating because the gold is layered over sterling silver instead of a base metal like brass or nickel and the layer is much thicker. To be considered vermeil the layer must be at least 2.5 microns.
